Gauntlet Arms Spitfire 17" AR-15 M-Lok Handguard
One of the most critical components of any AR-15 custom build is the handguard. In recent years freefloat handguards have increased in popularity. The freefloat handguard covers the barrel and is attached to the upper receiver via a barrel nut. The handguard serves many functions in an AR-15 build kit such as protecting the shooter's hand from being burned by the barrel, offering the shooter something to grip to help steady the weapon, can function as the attachment point for sights/optic, can have additional accessories attached, and adds to the aesthetic appeal of the build.

Finish: To maintain corrosion resistance the Gauntlet Arms Spitfire handguard is treated with a Type 3 hardcoat anodizing.
