Enhanced magazine release buttons typically incorporate a raised or extended magazine release surface, this is so the shooter can properly engage the magazine release without overextension of the shooter's finger. This magazine release is a 'drop-in' replacement for both your AR-15 and LR-308 / AR-10 pattern rifle.
About this Mag Release: The Armaspec B2 is a skeletonized extended magazine release designed to extend the length of the factory button. The Armaspec B2 makes it easier to release the magazine without changing the grip position. It's compatible with 5.56/.223 and 7.62/.308 receivers.
